Dunking

We went over to a friends house last night to swim and had such a wonderful time. We are completely sold on getting a pool. Obviously it would be a big purchase, so it won't be happening anytime soon, but it is on our long list of things to save for. The girls absolutely loved it, and I could only imagine how much use it would get in our backyard.

We had a membership to the neighborhood pool this summer but only got there a couple of times. Working around the hours the pool was open, the girls' lunch time, and nap time was a total pain. It would be so amazing to have something to get in to whenever we want and not have to worry about scheduling around naps. Also, it would be a lifesaver to not have to worry about the logistics of getting two (soon to be three, then maybe four) little kids into the car.

Olivia is taking a liking to water -- something we are not surprised at. Emily just watches from a distance (more like the side steps) and passes any turns to be dunked herself. All in all, it was a wonderful Sunday!
