The other night at church, all the kids were told to wear red, white, and blue in honor of veteran's day. Of course, we had to participate (although, to my dismay, many other people did not). I am insanely proud that Daniel served in the Marine Corps, so I had to sneak this in somehow. And let's face it, I doubt many other children there have a dad who was deployed shortly after they were born.
